Home Brewed will not disclose your name, email address, or other personal information to third parties without your explicit consent, except as otherwise specified in this Policy.

As a Home Brewed member (“Member”) you are required to provide a valid email address at registration. Depending on which services you choose to use, Home Brewed may require additional information, such as your store name, billing and payment information (including billing address, telephone number, credit card information), a telephone number, store website and/or a physical postal address.

Home Brewed may receive or collect information (for example: an email address) about a person who is not yet a registered Home Brewed member (“Visitor”) in connection with certain Home Brewed features, including but not limited to: a Visitor using the “Chat with Us” function on the Site or a Visitor engaging in a transaction. Visitor information is used only for the purpose for which it was originally submitted to Home Brewed. A Visitor can contact Chris Wade at 770-722-2772 if they do not want Home Brewed to retain their information.

Home Brewed automatically receives and records some information from your browser when you visit the Site, such as your IP address and cookies and data about which pages you visit on the Site.  This information helps us analyze and understand how the Site works for Members and Visitors, and provides a more personalized experience for Members and Visitors.

Home Brewed uses the information described in this Policy to provide and improve our services and products, for billing and payments, for identification and authentication, for targeted online marketing, to contact Members or interested parties, and for general research and aggregate reporting.

Home Brewed’s Terms of Use require all Members to be at least 18 years of age; therefore, this policy does not discuss use of the Site by minors.

Disclosure of Your Information

Information about our Members is an important part of our business, and we are not in the business of selling it to others. We share Member information only as described below.

  • Affiliated Businesses We Do Not Control:We work closely with affiliated businesses. In some cases, such as Home Brewed’s vendors, these businesses operate stores on the Site. You can tell when a third party is involved in your transactions, and we share Member information related to those transactions with that third party.
  •  Third-Party Service Providers:We may employ other companies and individuals to perform functions on our behalf. Examples include fulfilling orders, delivering packages, sending postal mail and e-mail, removing repetitive information from Member lists, analyzing data, providing marketing assistance, providing search results and links (including paid listings and links), processing credit card payments, and providing Member service. They have access to personal information needed to perform their functions, but may not use it for other purposes.
  • Business Transfers:As we continue to develop our business, we might sell or buy stores, subsidiaries, or business units. In such transactions, Member information generally is one of the transferred business assets but remains subject to the promises made in this Policy (unless, of course, the Member consents otherwise). Also, in the unlikely event that Home Brewed Outdoors, LLC, or substantially all of its assets are acquired, Member information will be one of the transferred assets, but Member information remains subject to this Policy.
  •  Protection of Home Brewed and Others:We release account and other personal information when we believe release is appropriate to comply with the law; enforce or apply our Terms of Use and other agreements; or protect the rights, property, or safety of Home Brewed, our users, or others. This includes exchanging information with other companies and organizations for fraud protection and credit risk reduction. However, this does not include selling, renting, sharing, or otherwise disclosing personally identifiable information from Members for commercial purposes in violation of the commitments set forth in this Policy.
  •  With Your Consent:Other than as set out above, you will receive notice when information about you might go to third parties, and you will have an opportunity to choose not to share the information.

Choice & Control

We know our Members value having control over their own information, and therefore Home Brewed gives you the choice of providing, editing or removing certain information, as well as choice over how we contact you.

You may change or correct your Home Brewed account information on the Site. You may also remove certain optional information on the Site that you no longer wish to be publicly visible, such as your full name.

For various reasons, Home Brewed may contact you about our services or your activity. Some of these messages are required, service-related messages for members. Other messages are not required, and you can control which optional messages you choose to receive by changing your settings at the time an email is received.

If you no longer wish to use Home Brewed’s services or receive service-related messages, then you may close your account.

The security of your personal information is important to us. Your Home Brewed account information is protected by a password. It is important that you protect against unauthorized access of your account and information by choosing your password carefully, and keeping your password and computer secure by signing out after using our services.

Home Brewed follows generally accepted industry standards to protect the personal information submitted to us, both during transmission and once Home Brewed receives it. No method of transmission over the Internet, or method of electronic storage, is 100% secure. Therefore, while we strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect your personal information, we cannot guarantee its absolute security.

Data Retention

Home Brewed will retain your information only for as long as is necessary or your account is active or as needed to provide you services. If you no longer want Home Brewed to use your information to provide you services, you may close your account. Home Brewed will retain and use your information as necessary to comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements.

You may inform us of any changes or requests in regards to your personal data, and in accordance with our obligations under local data protection law, we may update or delete your personal data accordingly.

Reasonable Efforts

We will use reasonable efforts to comply with this Policy and will take prompt corrective action when we learn of any failure to comply with this Policy or as required by Georgia Code §10-1-912 “Notification required upon breach of security regarding personal information.”

We welcome Member and Visitor feedback on any privacy concerns. In light of the above and because of the complex and constantly changing nature of our technology and business, and the security risks associated with using the Internet, we do not guarantee error-free performance under this Policy. To the extent permissible under law, Home Brewed is not liable for any incidental, consequential, or punitive damages relating to this Policy, including for any security breach that compromises any Member’s personal information as it relates to the Site, servers, or software.

Changes to this Policy

Home Brewed reserves the right to modify its Privacy Policy at any time. When we do so, we will also revise the “last modified” date at the top of the Privacy Policy. We encourage you to frequently review the Privacy Policy for any modifications.
